On 23 May 2026, Asians for Climate Solutions joined climate campaigners and community groups at the Victorian Election Climate Convergence in Malvern East. The one-day gathering brought people together to build stronger connections and prepare for coordinated climate action ahead of the Victorian election.
Through discussions and workshops, participants shared ideas, priorities and resources. A shared policy platform focused on keeping Victoria’s clean energy transition moving, delivering benefits for households and helping communities prepare for climate impacts.
For Asians for Climate Solutions, the gathering reinforced the importance of including Asian Australian voices in climate conversations and election advocacy. Climate action is strongest when it connects with people’s everyday concerns and is accessible across language and cultural communities. We look forward to working with our partners and communities to help make those voices heard in the lead-up to the election.
