Claire Clutterham MP, Federal Member for Sturt, wrote to AAFCS CEO Dr Corinne Ang following a speech she delivered in the Federation Chamber of the Australian Parliament on 25 August 2025, which was later recorded in Hansard. In her speech on cost-of-living pressures and the Cheaper Home Batteries Program, Claire recognised Dr Ang’s leadership in renewable energy and community education, as well as her work as CEO of Asian Australians for Climate Solutions.

Claire also reflected on the opportunity to introduce Dr Ang to Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen MP in June, noting how valuable it was for the Minister to hear directly about her commitment to household electrification and see her efforts first-hand.
